Excellent diner food that feels like you are on the middle of nowhere. Don't let the exterior of a metal building with a plywood cutout of a Bigfoot scare you aware. The interior is inviting with fantastic food and wonderful, friendly service.

Food was hot and fresh. We like this place. Sometimes the food is really good and sometimes it's just ok. I don't know if it's different cooks or what, but I'd still recommend going here. They have really good fried pickle slices. The pancakes are really good too. Chicken fried chicken is a real chicken breast flattened, not processed, so makes it taste homemade. The open face hot roast beef sandwich is just slices, like slices of sandwhich roast beef, not the homemade roast chunks. I personally like the pot roast chunks. But wasn't bad. The only thing that sucks, is the prices. If we go with 3 adults and 1 children it always comes up to about $120 with a 20% tip and one appetizer. Which for today isn't to bad.

Hubby and I decided to stop in for brunch after doing some flower shopping locally. Miss Lanie was an amazing server. Bright and cheerful. Informative and patient. My husband order a fried bologne sandwich with onion ring. He had not ever had one with all the fixing prior and it when above and beyond his expectations. Thick sliced bolognia with fresh lettuce, pickles, and tomato. Perfectly toasted. As well as a side of beans and cornbread. Perfectly seasoned, not too salty. Was happy to see breakfast burritos on the menu as not ever please does them. It was FANTASTIC. The salsa was extra special seasoned with cummin which gave it a nice savory flavor. We couldnt decide between Caramel cake or coconut pie so we ordered both. Couldn't be happier. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend. We shall be eating here again. See you Saturday! Updated: Thank you for coming through today with the coconut cream pie.
